California Super Prius

By Charlie Johnson

You were once an Early Adopter.  You were a pioneer.  You bought into the vision before it was popular.  But now, you're just one of the 1 Million California Prius hybrid vehicle owners who can't find their car in a parking lot, can't drive solo in the HOV lane and can't plug-in.  You CAN be an innovator again, and together, we can change the world.

I'm Charlie Johnson.  I'm a Prius owner like you.  I love your choice in vehicle.  I have almost 400,000 miles on mine.  I'm passionate about energy energy efficiency and I believe there is a group of Prius owners that want more;  more power, more fuel savings, more freedom, more versatility...let's call it, "More Prius (Less Gas)".

So, why can't you simply add a plug to your hybrid vehicle, so you can drive on electricity for 1/3rd the cost of gas?  You can, but in California, government regulations are blocking the way, unbelievably, by categorizing your Super Ultra Low Emissions hybrid vehicle as a "Gross Polluter" if it has been modified to plug-in, even if the electricity is supplied from 100% renewable energy. Imagine that, a 100MPG "Gross Polluter"?  What can you do about it?

Get the government off your back, by signing up for "California Super Prius" at wipomo.com, and share with your friends that own hybrid vehicles.  Wipomo will submit emissions testing results to the State of California on behalf of hybrid vehicle owners, and in compliance with the Aftermarket Certification vehicle testing program.

How can signing up for "California "Super Prius" Project" change the world?  In California, over the last 10 years, the major automotive manufacturers delivered the minimum number of only vehicles that can plug-in, 50K. For those who don't want to wait to see electric vehicles make a bigger impact, faster, there are now more than 3 million hybrids in the world that can be upgraded to plug-in, including 1 Million Prius vehicles in California.

Let's move the timeline forward.  If only 10% of California Prius drivers add a plug to their hybrid vehicles, it would double the number of Electric Vehicles on the road. And there would be more California jobs, cleaner air, and greater energy independence.
